The Government of India has stopped the Zimbabwe head coach Lalchand Rajput, an Indian national, from coming to Pakistan for the limited over series.
The Zimababwe Cricket (ZC) issued a statement explaining that the Embassy of India in Harare had requested that Lalchand Rajput be exempted from travelling to Pakistan.

The request was made in according with the travel guidelines that are in place by the Government of India for its citizens despite the Zimbabwe head coach being issued a visa by the Pakistan Embassy.
It is pertinent to mention that the Zimbabwe Cricket team landed in Pakistan early Tuesday morning but the Lalcahnd Rajput was not among the players and other officials.
Zimbabwe bowling coach Doughlas Hondo has taken over for Lalchand Rajput for the series set to take place in Pakistan.
