Five men allegedly gang-raped a woman for 10 days in Tank district of Dera Ismail Khan (DI Khan) before the victim was able to escape and make her way to the nearest police station.
According to the details, the victim hails from Piplan Town in Mianwali and registered a First Information Report (FIR) with Paharpur Police Station in Dera Ismail Khan on August 30th.

The First Information Report (FIR) states that the woman was kidnapped by five men who lured her by promising work. The suspects held her captive for 10 days during which time she was repeatedly gang-raped her in DI Khan.
The SHO of Paharpur Police Station said that tests are being conducted while they investigate the matter and collect evidence to arrest the suspects involved in this heinous crime.
A similar case took place in Lahore where a woman was gang-raped near Railway Station within the jurisdiction of the Nolakha Police Station after being lured there with the promise for a job.

Cases of rape have surged recently in Pakistan especially after the Lahore motorway incident since people are more on edge after hearing news of the woman being sexually assaulted in front her children.
Another case was reported in Nankana Sahib where a woman was gang-raped by six men as she was waiting for commute when her bus broke down.
