ISLAMABAD: Mobile services have been restored in Islamabad and Rawalpindi after almost two days of suspension according to the Deputy Commissioner Hamza Shafqaat.
Mobile services were suspended in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Chakwal and Attock Districts due to the Faizabad dharna (sit-in) by Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP).
However, the mobile services have been restored in Islamabad and Rawalpindi along with all other Districts. The Deputy Commissioner of Islamabad updated regarding the situation in ICT on Twitter.
According to sources, the Ministry of Religious affairs have successfully negotiated with TLP chief Khadim Hussain Rizvi and the Faizabad dharna (sit-in) is about to end soon.
