KARACHI: An Indian plane made an emergency landing at Jinnah International Airport in Karachi after a passenger’s health deteriorated en route to New Delhi.
According to the details, the flight (GOW-6658) was traveling from Riyadh in Saudi Arabia to New Delhi in India when, Mohammad Naushad, one of the passenger’s health deteriorated owning to which the Indian plane had to make an emergency landing at Karachi airport.
A team of doctors reached the plane soon after it landed in Pakistan and pronounced the death of the passenger after a medical. The traveler reportedly suffered a cardiac arrest.
According to the Civil Aviation Auhority (CAA) spokesperson, the Indian plane made a request for emergency landing at Jinnah International Airport in Karachi after the passenger’s health deteriorated.
“We allowed the plane to land on a humanitarian basis,” the CAA spokesperson stated regarding the matter.
