Many customers who pre-ordered the new PlayStation 5 aka PS5 from Amazon ended up receiving deliveries of cat food, foot massager and a bunch of other items instead of their much awaited game game console.
Social media users took to Twitter with concerns of having their PlayStation 5 consoles stolen while expressing their disappointment over the unsolicited deliveries, having received cat food, foot massagers and other items instead of the much awaited PS5 console.

Amazon has confirmed that the social media reports with such claims were correct stating:
We’re all about making our customers happy, and that hasn’t happened for a small proportion of these orders.
We’re really sorry about that and are investigating exactly what’s happened. We’re reaching out to every customer who’s had a problem and made us aware so we can put it right. Anyone who has had an issue with any order can contact our customer services team for help.
Amazon spokesman
Even MTV Journalist Bex April May reported a similar problem where she received an air fryer instead of her PlayStation 5. “Tried to document our one’s unveiling, but Amazon have tricked us with an unsolicited air fryer instead.” said the movie and gaming editor.
Many people started responding in the comments to the tweet with their own experience of being denied their PS5 game console.
