ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) announced that the results for the Medical and Dental College Admissions Tests (MDCAT 2020) will be announced on 16th, December 2020.
According to the Official tweet by Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) said: “As par the Order dated 27th November 2020 of the Sindh High Court in CP No.-D 6021 of 2020, the PMC has been directed to ensure that the results of the MDCAT 2020 examination held on 29th November 2020, and the one to be held on 13th December 2020 for the students who were COVID-19 positive, must be announced together”.
Therefore, the consolidated results will be announced on 16th December 2020.
A two-judge of Sindh High Court directed Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) and others to furnish their response to the constitutional petition by the next hearing to be held on 16th December, 2020.
According to the petition, it was stated that some questions in the MDCAT 2020 examination held on 29th November were not from the syllabus. The Honourable court was requested to terminate the test and direct PMC to hold a fresh exams for admission to the Medical colleges.
Meanwhile, Medical Students demand delay in exams amid COVID-19 after Federal Education Minister announced the closure of Schools and Colleges across the country as the sharp increase in Coronavirus cases, PMC decided to hold exams on time and those students test positive will appear in exams on 13th December 2020.
