A court has rejected the woman’s bail plea in the Faisalabad child torture case which involved a family brutally beating an 11-year-old minor maid on the street in Eden Valley Society.
Sameena Munir was arrested along with her husband Rana Munir after CCTV footage of the family severely torturing the 11-year-old girl went viral on social media, prompting authorities to take action against the heinous crime.

The court on Monday has denied the bail plea and approved the 14-day physical remand of the woman suspect in the Faisalabad child torture case for beating a 11-year-old minor maid.
However, it is pertinent to mention that the male suspect, Rana Munir was granted post-arrest bail against surety bonds worth Rs. 100,000 during a special hearing conducted on Sunday.

Furthermore, the prosecutor stated at the hearing that the police did not conduct the medical examination of the child who was tortured and since the victim is a minor, any statement from her could be elicited under duress leaving no evidence. (There is just a video that shows the brutal beating but let’s just ignore that and demand for something else.)
Moreover, the suspect while leaving the court after she was sent to jail on judicial remand started threaten media, saying that she would take revenge on them for reporting against her in the case.
Sameena Munir has straight up denied her involvement in this child torture case in Faisalabad, saying that the woman in the video is someone else.
