Popular Islamic scholar Maulana Tariq Jamil has been tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19).
Maulana Tariq Jamil took to Twitter informing his followers about testing positive for COVID-19 adding that he had been feeling unwell for the past few days.

Maulana Tariq Jameel has been admitted to the hospital on the advice of his doctors. “I have been admitted to the hospital on the advice of doctors, special prayers are requested,” he said in his tweet.
Earlier, the scholar was named as one of the world’s most influential Muslims by the Royal Aal al-Bayt institute for Islamic Thought in Jordan from 2013 to 2019.
In related news, Pakistani actress Mahira Khan also took to social media informing fans that she was tested positive for coronavirus.
