On 145th birthday of the great leader and founder of Pakistan, Quaid-e-Azam day is being celebrated wholeheartedly throughout the country. Various ceremonies were arranged on the burial chamber of the Quaid, where political leaders and army officials paid tribute and high accolades.
25th December marks the birth anniversary of the forefather of Pakistan Muhammad Ali Jinnah. And, although it’s been many decades since his demise, the whole nation commemorates and glorifies this honorable day with flower fresh enthusiasm. Hence, Quaid-e-Azam day is held every year on this date, in order to venerate the heroic services of Jinnah that gave us this beautiful homeland that we call Pakistan.
Quaid-e-Azam day 2020
Likewise every year, 2020’s Quaid-e-Azam day also came about with depiction of great honor and regards for the founder of the nation. The day aroused with special prayers for the security, progress, and prosperity of the country. Later, a change of guard ceremony took place at the Mazar-e-Quaid, during which Pakistan Military Academy Kakul cadets took over guard duties from the Pakistan Air Force.
Furthermore, Sindh Governor Imran Ismail, Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, representatives of three armed forces and people of different walks of life also visited the mausoleum of Jinnah in the morning, to lay floral wreath and offered their respect and gratitude to the great leader. Other than that, Pakistan’s flag was also erected on the rooftops of private and government organizations in commendation of Quaid-e-Azam day.
Imran Khan’s message on Quaid’s birthday
Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan also paid a rich tribute to the leader on this noble date, shedding light on Jinnah’s struggles in the creation of Pakistan and his principles of unity, faith and discipline. While addressing the youth on this Quaid-e-Azam day, Imran Khan stated,
“Let us live the Quaid’s ideals of Unity, Faith and Discipline with a renewed national spirit so that we make this country rise above all seen and unseen challenges,”
“On this eventful day when Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah was born, a proud nation was destined to come into being. I feel blessed to have opened my eyes in a free environment bestowed upon us by God through his chosen personality who was none other but our beloved Quaid.”
Imran Khan continued, thanking the Quaid on this day, on behalf of his whole nation,
“Therefore, there is no other pleasure more real to us as a nation than the commemoration of his birthday. As a prime representative of whole nation, I owe immense gratitude, love and devotion towards my beloved leader Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah,”
He finally concluded, highlighting the invisible hardships of Quaid-e-Azam in creation of this motherland, and prayed for the prosperity of the country he is serving.
“He is a role model not merely for us but for Muslims of whole world because of the universal vision he instilled in the creation of Pakistan. With the adorable actions which spoke louder than words, he became an actual prototype of honesty and righteousness. We trace not a single discourse by our beloved Quaid on the innumerable sacrifices he made for the cause of his nascent nation rather it is only through his actions that we learn of all those grieving losses he personally went through.”
“Together, let us beseech Allah that He grants us strength to realize our destiny of becoming the strongest nation on earth as rightly visualized by our Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah,”
