KARACHI: The Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA) Cybercrime Wing has arrested a man from Karachi for harassing and blackmailing a 13-year-old girl , according to a report published by Geo News.
According to the details, the suspect, identified as Abdul Qadeem, was blackmailing the 13-year-old girl with compromising pictures of herself and coerced her to send him money.
The accused belonged to Gulshan-e-Iqbal in Karachi and was taken into custody on the complaint of the victims mother after he resorted to blackmailing them for money.
According to the FIA, the accused had sent these pictures to the girl’s mother and demanded money while threatening to leak the photos on the internet if she refused to pay.
The police while arresting the man found several pictures of the victim on the mobile phone. A case has been registered against the man in the cybercrime wing.
Previously, the cybercrime unit of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has taken down a gang of criminals involved in managing adult sites in Karachi where they produced and uploaded immoral content regularly.
