Teasers for the most anticipated period drama of 2021, Dil Na Umeed Tou Nahi are finally dropped, and by the looks of it, the screenplay has blockbuster written all over it. Featuring the spellbindingly beautiful Yumna Zaidi and the dignified Yasra Rizvi, the drama will hit the television screens on 18th January.
About Dil Na Umeed Tou Nahi
Produced by Roshane Zafar, the forthcoming drama serial Dil Na Umeed Tou Nahi has been penned down by Amna Mufti and serves as collaboration between Kashf production, PTV and TV one. Moreover, the OST for the serial, which has been harvesting huge approbation since its release, has been vocalized by the producer too, whereas, the lyrics have been scripted by Sami Khan, of Ranjha Ranjha Kardi fame.
Talking about the timeline, the serial promises a powerful storyline and exclusive plots, centering on women trafficking, another social issue mounting in the country. Moreover, as assumed from the teasers, the drama will unfold with the leading ladies Yumna Zaidi and Yasra Rizvi, falling victims to such monstrous crime and combatting it later.
The drama is a mastered approach to raise awareness against woman trading and harassment. Hence, Dil Na Umeed Tou Nahi already has all eyes.

The bold and beautiful Yasra Rizvi, after astounding the spectators with her audacious avatar in Churails is back with another courageous character. Portraying the struggling woman Sawera, we will observe Yasra as the influential face in Dil Na Umeed Tou Nahi, as she steps ahead and break free from this heinous hole of misconducts.
Giving a bits about the storyline of the upcoming moving picture , the actress stated, “It is a story about women trafficking, as apparent from the first few teasers, with an ensemble cast and the main track is set in a modern/elite brothel, focusing on the lives of a few of these women of different ages and background.”
“My character — Sawera — is one of these women, a call girl in her 30s, losing clientele, trying to survive and fearful of her inevitable end,” she added about her character.
Furthermore, Yasra isn’t the only woman in this forthcoming race against offenders. She will be accompanied by the critically acclaimed queen of acting Yumna Zaidi. Yumna Zaidi was sighted in fascinating and elite roles in her previous serials like Pyaar Ke Sadqay and Raaz e Ulfat, both of which were giant hits. The actress is known to be picky about the character she depicts and usually embraces the extraordinary. Likewise, Yumna’s upcoming avatar also has the audience intrigued.
Other than the lady centrals, the upcoming saga also stars Wahaj Ali, Omair Rana, Samiya Mumtaz, Nauman Ejaz and more in pivotal roles.
