The exclusively talented and drop dead gorgeous starlet Mahira Khan, after securing a noteworthy rank among the few best film actresses of Pakistan, has hinted a return to the dramas universe once again.
The Bin Roye actress has not contracted any project yet, however, in a recent interview, Mahira Khan has given a sneak-peek into her future endeavors, promising a striking comeback to the small screens.
The spellbindingly beautiful Mahira Khan stepped into the world of showbiz with 2011’s chartbuster flick ‘Bol’ alongside Atif Aslam. Owing to her striking features and invincible game of expressions, the starlet had stolen the limelight at first shot and the face was recognized at an instant.
Although, Mahira depicted a supporting role in Bol, her next chapter titled Humsafar alongside Fawad Khan opened up massive gates to eminence. The Hum TV’s drama smashed all previous records of viewership and became the highest grossing screenplay, making Mahira Khan the emerging queen of showbiz.
Hence, after appearing in a couple more classical television serials, like Sadqay Tumharay and Shehr-e-Zaat, Mahira Khan went back to the film industry. There, she rocked back to back blockbusters, garnering massive accolades both nationally and internationally. Bin Roye, Ho Mann Jahan, 7 Din Muhabbat In and Superstar are among Mahira’s highly popular silver screen essentials.
In addition to this, Mahira’s craft at acting couldn’t go unnoticed by Bollywood also, as she was called for a movie ‘Raees’ alongside the megastar Shahrukh Khan.

Mahira Khan Returning to Dramas
Although Mahira continues to shine with big screen presentations, it has been forever since the actress made an appearance on television. The actress was last sighted in 2016’s Bin Roye and the small screens crave for her return now more than ever.
Nevertheless, the wait is finally over as the legendary Mahira Khan is ready to pay homage to her drama roots with a short serial in near future. The Verna actress, in an interview with Ahmed Ali Butt, revealed how the quarantine period granted her some leisure time that she invested into reading drama scripts. And, she would love to return to the small screens for a decent serial.
In addition to this, the actress also credited Hum TV for the prestigious rank that she now acquires, hinting a return to the platform.
“I want to come back to dramas. It’s truly been magical for me with Hum TV. Humsafar is why I continue to receive so much love in my personal life and in my career,” Mahira commented.
It is pertinent to mention that Mahira Khan currently awaits the release of her three forthcoming big screen ventures, titled “The Legend of Maula Jutt” and “Neelofar” alongside Fawad Khan, and “Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad” opposite Fahad Mustafa.
