Pak vs SA: Nauman Ali marks first win for Pakistan with his elite balling

The 34 year debutant Nauman Ali has made a history in Pak vs SA first test today, as he picks seven precious wickets of the opponents, sealing a smooth first victory for the green shirt. The hosts now lead the two match series with 1-0.

Day four of first test resumed on 187-4, Friday morning. Expectations were high from both sides as there had been a nail-biting competition between the two for past days. Nevertheless, thanks to the brutal bowling combination of Pakistan’s latest gem editions Nauman Ali and Yasir Shah to the bowling lineup, South African batting strategies were shaken abruptly, as all batsmen dismissed for just 245 runs. Before Nauman, the oldest Pakistani to have a five-wicket haul on debut was Bilal Asif, who had achieved the feat in 2018.

Furthermore, not only Nauman Ali, another heroic edition Yasir Shah also played a huge part in the Karachi Win of home squad today. The youngster picked the important wickets of Elgar, Rassie Van der Dussen, Faf du Plessis and Quinton de Kock, leading the squad to an easy victory.
