Its almost time for the sixth season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL 2021) and the official PSL 6 anthem titled ‘Groove Mera’ just dropped but fans have taken to social media sharing their disappointment with the song as it did not live up to their expectations.
The PSL 6 anthem titled ‘Groove Mera’ has been sung by the legendary Naseebo Lal along with super talented Pakistani singer Aima Baig and rappers Talha Anjum and Talha Younus of the Young Stunners, a hip-hop and rap duo based out of Karachi.
Furthermore, the music video for the PSL 2021 anthem, directed by Fida Moin, has been released as well and features some of the top cricketers including, Shadab Khan, Sarfaraz Ahmed, Shan Masood, Babar Azam, Shaheen Shah Afridi and Wahab Riaz.
The PSL 6 anthem starts with strong vocals by Naseebo Lal and followed by Aima Baig who delivers a really lively performance while making way for Young Stunners to take control of the track with their own rap that was written by the Karachi-based artists themselves.

However, the new PSL 2021 anthem titled ‘Groove Mera’ has been unable to live up to the expectation of cricket fans who have been eagerly waiting for the release, especially after last year’s debacle with PSL 2020’s track ‘Tayyar Hain’.
