Yesterday at Super Bowl 2021, Marvel has dropped an action packed trailer for its highly anticipated Falcon and the Winter Soldier series, coming to Disney plus on March 19th. Set in the post ‘Avengers: Endgame’ world, the six-episode series will reunite and continue the chilling adventures of mystical duo Sam and Bucky.
Going back to the Endgame, Avengers had defeated the mighty Thanos at last, followed with Steve Rogers retiring from the status of Captain America in order to live a simple life. What we witnessed last was Rogers handing over his shield to Sam Wilson (Falcon) so he could take on the mantle. However, ‘will Sam accept it?’ that’s part of what The Falcon and the Winter Soldier will explore over the course of its six episodes. As show-runner Malcolm Spellman has revealed previously, the tone of forthcoming saga will be similar to Captain America: Winter Soldier.

Marvel fans tighten your seat belts as the brandish The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is all set to return to the world of chaos and clashes, following the story of the celestial pair Sam and Bucky. In addition to this, the studio has also dropped an exhilarating first look for the series, adding to the MCU fans anticipation. Showcasing the titular superheroes’ buddy-cop vibe, trading barbs and wisecracks in between foiling the bad guys, the trailer has its bar higher than expected.
The trailer opens with the central superheroes being interviewed in what looks like a jail cell, and depicts the bickering marvel warriors joining hands for a global mission ‘that tests their abilities—and their patience.’
