All send-ups and exams being conducted across the country will continue as scheduled under proper coronavirus (COVID-19) standard operating procedures (SOPs), according to the Federal Education Minister Shafqat Mehmood
The announcement was made after the meeting of the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) held to review and analyze the COVID-19 situation across the country. The meeting was attended by all educational ministers, including from Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJ&K) and Gilgit-Baltistan.

“All send-ups and exams being currently conducted will continue under proper SOPs,” said Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training Shafqat Mehmood on Twitter shortly after announcing spring break in for schools in seven cities of Punjab due to rising COVID-19 cases.
Shafqat Mehmood announced that schools in seven cities of Punjab will be closed for a period of two weeks starting 15 March 2021 till 28 March 2021 following a spike in COVID-19 cases being reported across the province. However, the educational institutions in Sindh and Balochistan will continue normal classes with 50 percent attendance.
