ISLAMABAD: The petrol prices in Pakistan have been reduced for a period of 15 days from 1 April 2021 till 15 April 2021 on the directives of Prime Minister Imran Khan after reviewing the recommendations of the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA), said the Finance Minister Hammad Azhar during a media briefing on Wednesday.
According to the announcement, the petrol price in Pakistan has been reduced by Rs. 1.55 per litre bringing the new rate at Rs. 110.35 per litre while high-speed diesel (HSD) price in Pakistan has been cut by Rs. 3 per litre bringing the new rate at Rs. 113.07 per litre.
Meanwhile, the price of kerosene oil and light-speed diesel (LDO) have been reduced by Rs. 1.55 per litre and Rs. 1.56 per litre respectively, bringing new rates to Rs. 82.06 per litre and Rs. 79.86 per litre.

“We took this decision because now, we have some room due to a change in prices at the international market,” said the Finance Minister Hammad Azhar at the media briefing today (Wednesday).
The new petrol prices in Pakistan will go into effect from 1 April 2021 for a period of 15 days till 15 April 2021.
