Prime Minister Imran Khan has expanded the Ehsaas Koi Bhooka Na Soye Program to several cities of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Sunday under the initiative of the Ehsaas Programme, which is aimed at improving the lives of the poor and deserving people across the country.
Ehsaas Koi Bhooka Na Soye Programme is part of Prime Minister Imran Khan’s vision to set up a Medina style state where no one goes hungry. It is pertinent to mention that the PTI Government has also set up several Panagah’s and Langars across major cities for day laborers so they can save money and instead spend it on their families.

The initial phase of the Ehsaas Koi Bhooka Na Soye Program was launched in Islamabad on 10 March 2021 and has served free food to more than 39,000 beneficiaries. The initiative is now being extended to major cities of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including Lahore, Faisalabad and Peshawar.
Several mobile kitchens or food trucks will deliver food to day laborers and deserving people across various locations in Lahore, Faisalabad and Peshawar under the Ehsaas Koi Bhooka Na Soye Program. Each of these mobile kitchens will provide free food to 1500 – 2000 deserving people everyday.
According to the Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Social Security and Poverty Alleviation Dr Sania Nishtar, a bank account would be setup and announced to allow philanthropists to donate money towards the initiative.
