The Chairman of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Maulana Abdul Khabeer Azad has announced that the Shawal moon was sighted and Eid Ul Fitr 2021 in Pakistan will be celebrated tomorrow on Thursday (13 May 2021).
The meeting of the Ruet-e-Hilal Committee was held in Islamabad chaired by Maulana Abdul Khabeer Azad while zonal committees met at their respective headquarters for moon sighting to announce Eid Ul Fitr 2021 in Pakistan.
Azad had previously said that Eid ul Fitr will be celebrated on the same day throughout Pakistan.
Gulf countries including Saudi Arabia. United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Qatar had already announced Eid ul Fitr on 13 May 2021.
