The personal features on Microsoft Teams are available to users for free and include video calling as well as group chats.
You can also access the ‘Together Mode’ in your video calls with friends and family for a more personalized experience — and recreate a virtual environment of a restaurant or a living room.
Microsoft Teams also allows you to share links to video calls with those who don’t even have the application installed on their phones or desktops. They can simply join in on the conversation through a web browser.
Furthermore, you have the ability to invite up to 300 people to the video call. This will allow you to hold all kinds on events in a virtual manner.
People who don’t have a Microsoft Teams account can also interact in group chats using SMS messages. Moreover, all these features are available for free in light of the coronavirus pandemic.
Microsoft has been working hard to rival Zoom when it comes to personal features and video calling, something that has been dominated by Zoom ever since the pandemic first began.
