Karachi weather: 5 dead, several injured due to strong winds, dust storm

At least five people have died and several others injured when Karachi weather took a sudden turn due to cyclone Tauktae resulting in strong winds, dust storm and rain in various parts of the city.

According to the details, a child has died falling from an apartment in Clifton area of Karachi while a man and woman died when their roof collapsed in Baldia Town.

Furthermore, a man died when when the wall of his home collapsed in Saeedabad while another child was killed as a result of the house collapsing near Sher Shah Mohammadi Road.

Several other persons were injured as a result of the bad weather in Karachi resulting from the strong winds and dust storm.

Two women were injured when the roof of their house collapsed in Orangi Town No 13 while one person was injured when the balcony of the building near Denso Hall collapsed on him.

There was an accident at the Rashid Minhas Road between a car and two motorcycles, resulting in two persons getting injured.
