Schools in Punjab are reopening from 7 June 2021, said the Provincial Education Minister Dr Murad Raas on Friday while inaugurating the vaccination center for teachers in Lahore.
The Punjab Education Minister said that the students have suffered a lot due to the coronavirus pandemic and cannot afford more educational losses. As a result, the provincial government has decided to reduce summer vacations to a duration of two to three weeks.
“The government’s plan is to vaccinate all teaching and non-teaching staff at schools before educational institutions reopen.” said Murad Raas alongside Punjab Health Minister Dr Yasmin Rashid.
Teachers can get vaccinated by visiting the center before reopening of schools in Punjab on 7 June 2021. They need to take their CNIC and teaching certificate to the vaccination center.
