Netflix Drops Money Heist Season 5 ‘First Look’ Images

As Money Heist season 5 is just around the corner, Netflix has recently dropped some teasing flashes from what is known to be the biggest heist on the planet. And, by the looks of the first appearance images, the fifth and final seasons is geared up to explore wild adventures, mind-tingling plots, unplanned actions, bloodshed and loads of excitement. Hence it’s ‘do or die’ for the red-suited robbers trapped at the bank of Spain.

Fourth season of Money Heist had reached its curtain calls, at the biggest cliffhanger, with inspector Alicia finding out the professor’s whereabouts, giving the ‘game over’ calls. And ever since, fans have been curiously waiting to discover what will happen next at the Bank of Spain.

However, the time lag is almost over, and the strong-minded robbers’ troop is all set to kick in from where they left. To finish off the legal vs. illegal combat, the Money Heist season 5 premieres on September 3^rd, 2021.

About the series

Money Heist centers on a criminal mastermind “The Professor,” who has a plan to pull off the biggest heist in recorded history, which is to print billions of euros in the Royal Mint of Spain. To help him carry out the ambitious plan, he recruits eight people with certain abilities and who have nothing to lose. The group of red-suited thieves takes hostages to aid in their negotiations with the authorities, who strategize to come up with a way to capture The Professor. As more time elapses, the robbers prepare for a showdown with the police.

Money Heist, on account of its exceptional timeline and thrills, earned wide acclamations and praises, turning out to be one of the most viewed Netflix series. Therefore, the heist that had started off at the Royal mint of Spain was next taken to the Bank of Spain, as the series got renewed for a third season.

Season 4 of Money Heist was watched by 65 million subscribers in its first 28 days on Netflix last year.

Money Heist Season 5 synopsis

Money Heist Season 5 has been divided in two phases, with the first volume coming out on September 3^rd, while the final part will be premiered three months later on December 3^rd.

The official synopsis, given by Netflix alongside the first look images reads,

“The gang has been shut in the Bank of Spain for over 100 hours. They have managed to rescue Lisbon, but their darkest moment is upon them after losing one of their own. The Professor has been captured by Sierra and, for the first time, doesn’t have an escape plan. Just when it seems like nothing else could go wrong, an enemy comes on the scene that is much more powerful than any they’ve faced: the army. The end of the greatest heist in history is approaching, and what began as a robbery will turn into a war.”
