The Boys Season 3: Jensen Ackles Teases Full Soldier Boy Costume

The charismatic Supernatural star Jensen Ackles is back with another teaser from his forthcoming avatar of ‘Soldier Boy’ in the critically acclaimed The Boys’ season 3. This time, the actor has given out flashes of his silver-gray, costume shield, tempting the fans and followers a little more, until he reveals the whole gear tomorrow, as promised.

Jensen Ackles was taken on board for ‘The Boys: Season 3’ back in August 2020. And, ever since, it’s no secret the enigmatic Ackles will be embracing the ‘soldier boy’ avatar.

However, as the comic book series gradually heads to its wrap up, more and more people are intrigued in the ‘soldier boy’ character. And, to end the audience’s keenness, Jensen Ackles has finally promised to reveal the full, bronze shielded costume, which he has garbed in the impending The Boys Season 3.

About the character

In the original comics by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, Soldier Boy is meant to be the very first superhero. He was injected with an imperfect version of Compound V back in 1944 and sent to kill German soldiers, probably without the catchy song and dance number we saw in Captain America: The First Avenger. Soldier Boy remained employed by Vought International for quite some time, and even crossed paths with the now-dead Lady Liberty (Stormfront).

Jensen Ackles Teases Soldier Boy’s First Look

Taking it to his twitter handle, Jensen Ackles shared a close up image of what he has garbed in The Boys upcoming season, followed with a promise of full costume reveal the next day. He captioned,

“Every dent, every scratch, every mark tells a story. A story that ends with me, winning. Full character reveal tomorrow!!!”

Moreover, it is not the first time the actor has given an insight of his highly anticipated avatar. Few days back, Ackles had posted an intense training regime with a workout video.

Amazon Studios’ The Boys stars Karl Urban as Billy Butcher, Jack Quaid as Hughie, Laz Alonso as Mother’s Milk, Tomer Kapon as Frenchie, Karen Fukuhara as Kimiko, Erin Moriarty as Annie January, Chace Crawford as The Deep, Antony Starr as Homelander, Katia Winter as Little Nina and Jensen Ackles as Soldier Boy. Seasons 3 has yet to receive a premiere date.
