Thor Love and Thunder Artwork Reveals Jane Foster’s Costume As Mighty Thor

Now that production on Thor Love and Thunder has wrapped, the franchise has revealed first ever look at Jane Foster’s gear as Mighty Thor, confirming the news of the return of Natalie Portman to the MCU. And hence, it is settled that Odinson will not be the only God of Thunder in the forthcoming film, as his ex-Jane is back in the game of power.  

Thor: Love and Thunder is an impending American superhero film that narrates the story of Marvel Comics character Thor. Produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, the feature is intended to be the direct sequel to Thor: Ragnarok and the 29th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

Directed by Taika Waititi, who co-wrote the screenplay with Jennifer Kaytin Robinson, the upcoming Thor Love and Thunder will star the charismatic Chris Hemsworth as the titular Thor. Meanwhile, Tessa Thompson, Natalie Portman, Christian Bale, Chris Pratt, Jaimie Alexander, Pom Klementieff, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Sean Gunn, and Jeff Goldblum among others have embraced other pivotal avatars.

Furthermore, on top of being another outing to Hemsworth’s Asgardian prince, ‘Thor Love and Thunder’ will also mark the return of Natalie Portman to the MCU, reprising her role as Jane. However, instead of simply being the primary love interest to Thor, the character will also assume own superhero persona as Mighty Thor.

Leaked images from the set of the film in Australia have shown the character in her civilian clothes, but not in her proper superhero attire. Fortunately, however, a new piece of merchandise for the film features an artwork revealing what she might possibly look like as the new wielder of Mjölnir. And, by the looks of the representation, the character has been adopted as it is from the comics.

Hence, Chris Hemsworth’s Odinson won’t be the only God of Thunder in Thor: Love and Thunder, as his former lady love Jane Foster is set to make a comeback and this time, she will be the one wielding Mjolnir, gifting her same powers as her ex-boyfriend.

Here to mention, there is no official news about the release of Thor Love and Thunder. However, it has completed filming, and is currently in post-production phase, and therefore the first trailer is expected in near future. Till then, the fans are expected to satisfy their anticipations with the artwork of Jane Foster as mighty Thor, dropped lately.
