Humayun Saeed, Mehwish Hayal, Maya Ali Team Up For A Drama Serial

The charismatic past master of Pakistani films industry Humayun Saeed together with the mesmeric and exceptionally talented actresses Maya Ali and the drop dead gorgeous Mehwish Hayat is set to return to the television screens, with the forthcoming drama serial ‘Main Manto Nahi Hun.’ Penned down by the legendary Khalil ur Rehman, the romantic saga is in final stages of completion and is expected in near future.

Going back to 2019, the enigmatic and artistic acting veteran Humayun Saeed had smashed all previous records of viewership with his stellar performance as Danish in the blockbuster Meray Pass Tum Ho. The drama serial, owing to its emotional yet gripping timeline had garnered huge accolades both nationally and abroad and till date tops the most successful Pakistani dramas.

However, ever since the aforesaid project, Humayun Saeed has been absent from television screens. Hence, his fans and followers have been longing for his comeback, with something huge and exciting. However, the wait is finally over. And, the actor is geared up for another big venture of his life, titled that is just around the corner.

Main Manto Nahi Hun

Humayun Saeed has announced his return to small screens earlier this year, with the romantic narrative ‘Main Manto Nahi Hun.’ However, at that time, the screenplay had lacked its female leads.

However, the actor had revealed a bit of its timeline, calling it to be passionate love tale that revolves around the life of renowned Urdu writer Saadat hasan Manto. However, it is not a biopic, rather features the 90s language legend from an entirely different angle.

Moreover, another plus point for the upcoming screenplay is the presence of massively cherished Khalil ur Rehman as the writer. The actor-writer dup had previously given the world Meray Pass Tum Ho, and therefore the audience has high hopes this time also.

Furthermore, as if Humayun Saeed and Khalil ur Rehman weren’t enough to create a buzz and attract wide audience, Main Manto Nahi Hun has booked in the leading ladies and the superstars of entertainment industry, the incredibly talented and the enthralling Mehwish Hayat and Maya Ali as the female leads, labeling it a blockbuster already.

Furthermore, where Maya Ali has the audience glued to their screens with her spellbinding performance in Pehli si Muhabbat, 2019’s Chhalawa. However, with the three old-stagers uniting on a common venture, the drama is guaranteed to achieve great ratings.
