Mufti Ismail Toru Arrested Over Blasphemy Remarks

Rawalpindi Police has arrested Mufti Ismail Toru over blasphemy remarks and defending Mufti Aziz ur Rehman, a Lahore-based cleric who sexually abused his student for several years while his sons blackmailed and threatened to kill him if he came public regarding the ordeal.

Mufti Ismail Toru claimed that similar incidents also occurred during the time of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and defended Mufti Aziz ur Rehman while requesting everyone to support the former JUI leader as he is only human.

Furthermore, the Rawalpindi-based religious cleric also claimed that Mufti Aziz ur Rehman was drugged in order to make the viral video and those responsible for sharing and exposing the former cleric cannot be good Muslims.

Mufti Ismail Toru was arrested by Rawalpindi Police in Ratta Amral and presented before a judicial magistrate on Tuesday morning and sent to jail on judicial remand.

First Information Report (FIR)

The religious cleric was taken into custody in front of his seminary students who began chanting slogans against authorities while supporting Mufti Toru and claiming that the police is targeting ulema.

It is pertinent to mention that Mufti Aziz ur Rehman has confessed to sexually abusing his student while his sons threatened to kill him for outing their father in the leaked viral video.

Meanwhile, ex Mufti Abdul Qavi has been making headlines once again after a long hiatus as a leaked viral video of the former cleric began making rounds on social media showing him self pleasuring himself on a video call.
