Mawra Hocane and Ahsan Khan to star in Qissa Meherbano Ka

After the critical success of Aangan, spellbindingly gorgeous Mawra Hocane is geared up for another mesmerizing on-screen chemistry with the charismatic actor and host Ahsan Khan, as the two veterans pair up for forthcoming romance Qissa Meherbano Ka. The drama will be aired on Hum TV. However, no official release date has been disclosed yet.

The young, hypnotic and exceptionally talented starlet Mawra Hocane is not a new name to the show business. Rather, the Sabaat actress lies among the few topnotch acting ladies, who started off with baby steps, and are now recognized both nationally and abroad.

Mawra Hocane had marked her acting debut in 2011 with multiple side roles. However, the actress did not earn a noticeable fan following, until 2016, when she appeared as a lead in ARY digital’s Billo, bablu aur bhaiyya. The comedy drama was a running success then, and Mawra, on account of her soft features and penetrating game of expressions garnered massive praises.

Ever since, the actress has been unstoppable, offering the best quality content. Her acting credits include Aangan, Sabaat, Daasi, Sami, Haasil and kitni girhain baqi hain.

Moreover, on the film front, Mawra Hocane has appeared in Jawani Phir nahi Aani 2, that was her Pakistani silver screen debut.

Prior to that, Mawra had appeared in Sanam Teri Qasam, a Bollywood love flick alongside Harshvardhan Rane.

Furthermore, talking about the male central of the impending screenplay, the versatile and enigmatic Ahsan Khan is a man of many talents, and possesses an extended list of megahit titles to his name.

The actor had starting acting back in 1998, and has been the finest ever since. Alif, Bandhay aik dou say, Qayamat, Udaari, Marasim, Zid, Takay ki aigi baraat and Dastan are among ahsan Khan’s renowned titles. In addition to being a past master at acting, Ahsan is also a television host and producer, and has hosted dozens of reality shows. Presently, the actor is winning hearts with his reality show Timeout with Ahsan Khan.

Even though Mawra Hocane and Ahsan Khan have given the audience some of the blockbuster television dramas individually, the duo had gathered immense love and adoration when they first paired for historic period drama Aangan. The drama had also starred the star couple Sajal Aly and Ahad Raza Mir and was the talk of the then year.

And, to captivate the audience in their magical romantic bubble once again, and relive the ‘Aangan’ vibes, Mawra Hocane and Ahsan Khan have signed up for an upcoming serial titled Qissa Meherbano Ka.

Penned down by renowned novelist Fakhra Jabeen, the drama is a Hum TV’s production and will be directed by Iqbal Hussain.

The big news was announced by Mawra Hocane herself. Taking it to her instagram handle, the Shareek-e-Hayat actress shared some behind the scenes clicks, dressed up in a mayun bride epitome, revealing the name of her next venture. She captioned, “QISSA MEHERBANO KA” #theonewhereweallmisunderstood.”

All further timeline details are still under wraps, as the drama serial is in production phase. However, what we do know is that besides the talented pair of Mawra Hocane and Ahsan Khan, the suno chanda starlet Mashal Khan is also part of the leading cast.

Other than that, Noman Ijaz’s son Zaviyar Noman Ejaz, will also make his acting debut in the upcoming drama Qissa Meherbano Ka.
