A physics examination paper was leaked in Karachi as the annual Secondary School Certificate (SSC) or matric exam was being held across the province of Sindh on Monday.
According to the details, the matric exam started at 9:30am and the leaked physics paper was available outside the examination centers after four minutes, exposing lapses in the education ministry’s administration.
Furthermore, there were reports that the physics paper started late at several examination centers and a lot of students and parents expressed their disappointment over the situation.
Some examination centers such as the one in Surjani Town was delivered the paper until late afternoon, with parents and students waiting for it as per several media outlets.
Moreover, it is being reported that students were also sound using mobile phones during examination at several centers, something which is prohibited while attempting the paper.
Meanwhile, the Sindh Education Minister Saeed Ghani issued a statement on the mismanagement of the first paper of the annual matric exam. He said that he was looking into all the issued reported during the paper. However, he clarified that the Education boards do not fall under his jurisdiction.
