BTS drops teaser trailer for ‘Permission to Dance’

Following the worldwide success of their last single ‘Butter’ that still tops Billboard Top 100 chart, BTS has dropped a new, mesmeric country themed musical teaser for their next forthcoming single ‘Permission to dance.’ Written by the critically acclaimed Hollywood singer ‘Ed Sheeran’ the musical track will be dropped on July 9^th.

Massively renowned and one of the leading Korean boy bands BTS, added to their milestones lineup last year, when they dropped the yellow themed summer anthem ‘Butter.’

The melody likewise the boys’ previous anthems was an intense hit. And, with their second English single Butter, BTS had smashed their own record of most YouTube views in 24 hours.

The pop song had garnered more than 100 million views in less than a day of its premiere. Not only this, the soundtrack had crossed approximately 113 million views by midnight, according to the platform’s public views counter.

At present, Butter’ is at No. 1 on the ‘Hot 100 chart’ for a sixth consecutive week, making BTS the first Asian band in history to achieve this milestone. It becomes the group’s longest-leading No. 1 hit, and has surpassed the three-weeks run of ‘Dynamite’.

And, even though the ‘Butter’ reign has not died down yet, BTS is once again coming back with another summer melody, titled ‘Permission to Dance’ for which the group has recently dropped a refreshing teaser trailer.

The Korean boys’ forthcoming melody ‘Permission to Dance’ will be included on BTS’s upcoming CD version of their hit single “Butter.” Hence, with the song approaching real soon, the sneak peek into the musical video is finally out.

Set against the backdrop of the countryside, the ‘Permission to dance’ teaser opens with BTS members grooving in the sunny weather. RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook are all spotted dressed up in denim fits, with their cowboy hats on as sway to the smooth beats of the track. And, subsequent to flaunting their summer vibes, the group sings the chorus “We don’t need permission to dance.”

The song is co-written alongside celebrated Hollywood singer and songwriter Ed Sheeran, and will be released on July 9th at 1 p.m. KST time. Here is the teaser video of BTS Permission to Dance.
