A court in Islamabad on Friday extended the physical remand of Usman Mirza, the main accused in the viral video incident where he was seen torturing an Islamabad Couple and forcing them to strip naked at gunpoint with the help of several accomplices.
The prime accused, Usman Mirza along with his three accomplices, Atta-ur-Rehman, Mudaris Butt and Farhan Shaheen Awan were presented before Judicial Magistrate Waqar Mirza after the initial two-day physical remand had ended.
Furthermore, the Islamabad Couple has also recorded their statements separately under Section 161 of the Criminal Code and both of them will join the case on the assurance of full protection and legal assistance.
Usman Mirza ignited widespread outrage on social media after the leaked viral video showed the culprit severely torturing and forcing a couple to strip naked at gunpoint as well as allegedly raping the girl with the help of his accomplices.
Islamabad Police arrested Usman Mirza and his accomplices shortly after the viral video starting making rounds on the internet and lodged a First Information Report (FIR) against Usman Mirza under Section 341, 506-II, 509, 354A and 34 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC).
Fourth Accomplice Arrested
The Islamabad Police have arrested the fourth accomplice of Usman Mirza who was involved in filming the viral video of a couple who was forced to strip naked in their apartment at E-11/2.
According to DIG Operations, the fourth suspect was also arrested and the police found the obscene viral video of the girl from his mobile phone.
Usman Mirza Leaked Viral Video
Usman Mirza sparked outrage with netizens demanding his arrest after a leaked viral video showed the culprit verbally and physically abusing a couple in Islamabad. He also went on the force the couple strip at gunpoint and used the footage to blackmail them for a past few months.
