ISLAMABAD: The petrol prices in Pakistan are expected to increase from 16 July 2021, according to the recommendation summary submitted by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) to the Petroleum Division.
The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has recommended an increase in the petrol price by Rs. 11.5 per litre and diesel price by Rs.2.40 per litre from 16 July 2021.
Furthermore, the regulatory body has proposed an increase of Rs. 1.40 per litre in the price of light speed diesel and Rs. 1.5 per litre in the price of kerosene oil.
It bears mentioning that the change in petrol prices in Pakistan were increased for the first half of July 2021 after approval from Prime Minister Imran Khan
If the Government approves the new petrol prices in Pakistan, these will come into effect from 16 July 2021 for the first half of the next month.
The current petrol price in Pakistan is Rs. 112.69 per litre while high speed diesel is being sold for Rs. 113.99 per litre, Kerosene for Rs. 85.75 per litre and light-speed diesel for Rs. 83.40 per litre.
