The Federal Government will launch the Kamyab Pakistan Program on August 9, which will extend micro-loans to entrepreneurs, small businesses and farmers without collateral at 0% mark-up.
Federal Minister for Finance Shaukat Tarin chaired a consultative meeting to finalize the arrangements for the launch of the Kamyab Pakistan Program. He said that Prime Minister Imran Khan will launch the program, which is going to be the government’s largest welfare project.
Furthermore, the meeting was attended by the Special Assistant to Prime Minister (SAPM) Usman Dar and other senior officials from the Ministry of Finance.

Kamyab Pakistan Program
The Finance Minister said that the government had decided to boost the welfare projects in the country, adding that the Kamyab Pakistan Program will include various projects, including housing, skill development, soft loans, health cards and agriculture services.
He added that the key focus of the programme is to provide loans to 4.5 million deserving households which are registered with the National Socio Economic Registry (NSER) of the Ehsaas Program. The Kamyab Pakistan Program will disburse a cumulative Rs. 1.6 trillion over the next three to five years, which will benefit around 3,000,000 families. This makes the initiative the largest of its kind in the world.
The Kamyab Pakistan Programme will provide agriculture loans to farmers with landholdings of up to 12.5 acres while mirco-loans would be extended up to Rs. 150,000 (per crop) for procurement of agriculture inputs to boost agriculture productivity. In addition, the program will also provide loans of up to Rs. 200,000 for machinery and equipment to farmers.
Kamyab Karobar Loan Program
The Kamyab Pakistan Program will extend loans of up to Rs. 500,000 for small businesses and start-ups without collateral and 0% mark-up in both rural and urban areas under the Kamyab Karobar Loan Program.
Furthermore, the repayment of these loans will be made through easy installments.
