Punjab Police has stated that NADRA will identify the men who harassed TikToker Ayesha Akram in the Minar-e-Pakistan incident that took place on Independence Day (14th August 2021).
The official Twitter account of the Punjab Police said that Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Punjab Inam Ghani had contacted the Chairman NADRA for help in identifying the men involved in the Minar-e-Pakistan incident.
“Pictures of men involved in the harassment of the female TikToker have been sent for immediate identification.” said Punjab Police on Twitter.
The statement added that NADRA officials are working despite being a holiday to identify the men responsible for harassing the TikToker Ayesha Akram in the incident at Minar e Pakistan.
“Case has been registered against accused under Section 354-A, which carries sentence of ‘Life in Prison’ or ‘Death Penalty’.” said Punjab Police.
The Punjab Police added that no stone will be left unturned to provide justice to the victim and punish those responsible.

TikToker Ayesha Akram Demands Justice
TikToker Ayesha Akram has demanded justice from Prime Minister Imran Khan for the Minar-e-Pakistan incident that took place on Independence Day.
In an interview with a local media outlet, the TikToker opened up about the details of the incident. “I did not wear any obscene clothing, nor I tried to be vulgar over there.” said the girl while speaking about the disturbing incident at Lahore’s Greater Iqbal Park.
PM Khan Takes Notice of Minar-e-Pakistan Incident
Prime Minister Imran Khan has also taken notice of the incident at Minar e Pakistan and directed authorities to immediately arrested those responsible for harassing the girl.

Female TikToker Ayesha Akram was filming a video with her friends when 300-400 unidentified men attacked the group and harassed the girl for nearly 3 hours. These people went as far as to tear her clothes and forcibly take her ring and earrings while also stealing her friend’s phone, CNIC, and Rs. 15,000 on hand.
