JUSTICE FOR MUSKAN – In another tragic incident, 16-year-old girl, Muskan, was drugged and raped in Rawalpindi by a molvi in-charge of the Jamia Tooba Zia ul Banat Madrassa (seminary) in Pir Wadhai area of the city where the girl was studying. The incident is causing outrage amongst many people, who are now demanding Justice For Muskan (#JusticeForMuskan).
According to the details, Muskan was drugged by the molvi in-charge at the Jamia Tooba Zia ul Banat Madrassa along with the help of a female teacher present at the seminary. The accused then proceeded to rape the girl and later called her parents to come pick her up as she had fainted.
A First Information Report (FIR) has been registered at Pir Wadhai Police Station in Rawalpindi against the molvi and the teacher at the Jamia Tooba Zia ul Banat Madrassa. However, the mother of the victim has said that the police is not cooperating with them or arresting the accused in the incident.
The mother of the victim has requested RPO, CPO Rawalpindi and Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Punjab Inam Ghani to take notice of the rape incident and provide justice for her daughter.
According to the First Information Report (FIR), Muskan said that the madrassa principal had been trying to harass for the past few months and threatened to kill her if she told anybody.
The FIR also stated that a female teacher at the madrassa took the girl to principal movli’s office where he attempted to rape her but when she resisted, the molvi along with the teacher tortured and drugged her.
The Rawalpindi Police has not arrested anyone in the rape incident as they are waiting for the medical examination report.
Justice For Muskan
The matter has caused outrage as people demand Justice For Muskan, who was raped by Jamia Tooba Zia ul Banat Madrassa molvi in Rawalpindi.
Meanwhile, in a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan’s Special Assistant on Religious Affairs and head of the Ulema Council Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi on Sunday, all religious scholars from across the country, belonging to all schools of thought, severely condemned the rape of children and women in the country.
They have issued a joint declaration condemning the rape of a 16-year-old female student by the in-charge of a seminary in Rawalpindi on Sunday. The religious scholars demanded that the one responsible should be punished in full public view.
