The Punjab Government has announced a change in school timings across the province due to Jumma Prayers. The announcement was made by Punjab Education Minister Dr Murad Raas.
According to the notification shared by Dr Murad Raas on Twitter, the new school timings in Punjab will go into effect immediately and remain implemented till 15 September 2021.

Monday to Thursday & Saturday (Girls School) | 07:30 am to 12:30 pm |
Friday (Girls School) | 07:30 am to 11:45 am |
Monday to Thursday & Saturday (Boys School) | 07:45 am to 12:45 pm |
Friday (Boys School) | 07:45 am to 12:00 noon |
Monday to Saturday (Insaf Afternoon Schools) | 2:00 pm to 05:00 pm |
The notification also urged all school authorities / principals / head teachers to ensure observance and compliance of COVID-19 SOPs in letter and spirit. However, the classes will be held in staggered approach having 50% attendance each day under the new school timings in Punjab.
