England may cancel their tour of Pakistan ahead of the ENG vs PAK series consisting of 2 T20Is according to sports presenter Zainab Abbas after New Zealand pulled out of the PAK vs NZ series on Friday.
According to Zainab Abbas, these countries share the same intelligence so it is likely that England will pull out of the Pakistan tour just like New Zealand.
Zainab Abbas thinks it is unfortunate that New Zealand did not share any information about the threat, which could put other lives in danger as well.
“Following an escalation in the New Zealand Government threat levels for Pakistan, and advice from NZC security advisors on the ground, it has been decided the Blackcaps will not continue with the tour.” stated NZC in a statement after announcing the cancellation of the PAK VS NZ series.
“I understand this will be a blow for the PCB, who have been wonderful hosts, but player safety is paramount and we believe this is the only responsible option,” NZC chief executive David White said in the statement.
