Sindh Government has decided to arrest unvaccinated citizens in the province after fresh orders were issued by the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) to expedite the COVID-19 vaccination in the country.
According to a notification issued by the Sindh Home Department, the people traveling on motorway will be required to get vaccinated by 20 September 2021. Furthermore, the unvaccinated travelers will no longer be able to avail train services from now onwards.
The notification added that all staff working for transport companies must be vaccinated otherwise their buses and other equipment may be confiscated by the authorities. The same applies to hotel and restaurants which will be sealed over unvaccinated staff including those involved in home delivery.
According to the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), the number of total vaccine shots administered across Pakistan has crossed 70 million doses.
