Expo 2020 Dubai is finally taking place after an year-long postponement and millions of people are expected to converge on Dubai for the event. However, the people attending the event will be required to wear masks and observe social distancing on site while everyone will need to be vaccinated against the coronavirus or have a negative PCR test to enter.
The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) has completed its preparations for the Expo 2020 to ensure the provision of state-of-the-art medical care, including emergency care, on-site medical centers and to provide laboratory screening for COVID-19. The authority has mobilized its human capital, equipment and technology to provide highly advance medical care and safe environment to the Expo 2020 participants and visitors.
Furthermore, the medical care network provided by DHA for Expo 2020 Dubai is not only limited to the venue of the event but also extends to a large group of hospitals and specialized centers in the city to provide state-of-the-art care to all the participants and visitors of the event.
Israel Taking Part in Expo 2020 Dubai
Israel is also gearing up to take part in the Expo 2020 when the event starts on 1 October 2021 as the Jewish State has normalized ties with the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
“We’re very happy to be here,” Menachem Gantz told AFP, the spokesman of Israel’s pavilion at the six-month world fair.
“This is the first time the expo is in the Middle East, and the first time Israel is participating in an event of such a large scale and importance [in an Arab country].”
