New Zealand ready to tour Pakistan hints PCB Chairman Ramiz Raja

ISLAMABAD: The Chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Ramiz Raja on Thursday hints that the New Zealand cricket team (Black-Caps) has agreed to tour Pakistan.

PCB Chairman Ramiz Raja was briefing Senate Standing Committee on Inter-Provincial Coordination (IPC), the chairman said, Black Caps are working on rescheduling a tour after being canceled last month due to ‘security threats’ and he assured lawmakers that he would announce the New Zealand touring Pakistan next week.

Ramiz Raja said that the International Cricket Council (ICC) President Greg Barclay 99 per cent agreed with Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB’s) stance over New Zealand’s sudden departure from Pakistan last month.

On September 17th, New Zealand Cricket team suddenly abruptly abandoned the tour in Pakistan and left within 24 hours, just before the match was about to start in Rawalpindi Stadium.

After following the fake emails and security threats to New Zealand players by the Indian (RAW) Intelligence agency which was later busted on main-stream media that all the emails sent to the New Zealand team were fake and actual IP address was from India, However, RAW specialists chose to use virtual private network (Singapore). India leaving no stone unturned to destablise Pakistan once again after being defeated badly in Afghanistan as the Taliban took control of the country.

After the sudden departure of New Zealand team, England Cancels Pakistan Tour After New Zealand which was scheduled before T20 World Cup 2021 event in United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Commenting on the departure, Ramiz said it was not the way the game can go on.

“We have a history of cricket. This cannot happen that someone comes, reaps his benefit and then throws us in the trash,” deplored the PCB chief.

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) continued the momentum and rescheduled the T20 National Cup to Rawalpindi Stadium.
