FIA Arrests Man Behind Sania Ashiq Viral Video

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested the man allegedly responsible for Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) MPA Sania Ashiq Leaked Video that went viral on social media and landed the young politician under a lot of criticism by internet trolls. It bears mentioning that the viral video of Sania Ashiq was fake and it was just used to malign the reputation of the female politician.

Sania Ashiq was severely criticized following the viral video on social media as many people believed the girl in the clip to be the politician. However, there are several differences in facial features when carefully looked at confirming that the person in the video is just her lookalike.

According to the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), a raid was conducted in Taxila to arrest the suspect responsible for making the leaked video of Sania Ashiq that went viral on social media. Furthermore, a First Information Report (FIR) has been registered against him as well.

Sania Ashiq had launched a complaint with the Cyber Crime Wing of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) over a defamation campaign against her on social media. She mentioned that she had been the target of harassment, defamation and blackmail since several months by number of accounts operation on social media under original and fictitious names.

In her complaint, the politician added the smear campaign started with threatening calls from unknown numbers that would make unwelcomed sexual comments about her and the matter went as far as obscene videos being shared on social media in her name.

However, Sania Ashiq had enough after an extremely inappropriate viral video popped up on social media and forced her to take legal action against everyone responsible.
