Karachi Woman Raped by PUBG Friend in Lahore

A woman from Karachi was raped multiple times by a man she befriended on popular video game, PUBG. The woman reportedly travelled to Lahore to meet her PUBG friend on the promises of marriage. The same woman was later raped by two other people on the promise of a job.

According to the First Information Report (FIR) issued on the complaint of the woman at the North Cantt Police Station, the woman had befriended a man, identified as Harris, on the popular online video game, PUBG.

The man lured her to Lahore on the promise of marriage and finding her a job, however, he raped her several times before abandoning her after she insisted of marriage.

The women said that she was later raped by two men, identified as Hassan and Waheed, after they promised her a job. She said that they approached her while she was waiting at the Lahore Railway Station. “They took me to a hotel in Ichrah where they sexually assaulted me,”

Meanwhile, the Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar has taken notice of the incident and directed the Lahore CCPO to submit a report. Furthermore, CCPO Fayyaz Dev said that a team headed by the SP has been formed to arrest the suspects.
