Four women were beaten and stripped naked in broad daylight by shopkeepers in a Faisalabad market on Tuesday. The shopkeepers accused the women on stealing valuables from their shop as they resorted to beating and stripping them naked in public in the market.
According to the details, the four women went to the area for garbage picking and entered a store to drink water, but the store owner, Saddam, accused the women of shoplifting from his store and detained them on the spot. However, more people gathered there and took the four women outside and stripped them naked while making a video.

The video of the Faisalabad Incident has gone viral on social media and shows several men descend on the four women as they cry out for mercy. The four women, including one teenager, are forced to walk naked through the Faisalabad market. The women request the people surrounding them to let them cover up but instead they are beaten by the crowd with sticks.
“They continued to beat us for around an hour and made our videos in naked condition,” the complainant said in the First Information Report (FIR). However, there were some people who tries to free the victims but failed because of the heavy crowd.
