The Government has increased the Petrol Prices in Pakistan from 1 January 2022 to 15 January 2022 on the directives of Prime Minister Imran Khan as a new year’s gift to public amid already increasing inflation in the country.
According to the announcement, Petrol Price in Pakistan has been increased by Rs. 4.00 per litre bringing the new rate at Rs. 144.82 per litre, while the High-Speed Diesel (HSD) Price in Pakistan has also been raised by Rs. 4.00 per litre, bringing the new rate at Rs. 141.62 per litre.
Meanwhile, the Price of Kerosene Oil has been increased by Rs. 3.95 per litre, bringing the new rate at Rs. 113.53 per litre, while the Price of Light Diesel Oil (LDO) has been hiked by Rs. 4.15, bringing the new rate at Rs. 111.06 per litre.

It bears mentioning that we have posted exact Petrol Prices as mentioned in the official notification (which is also attached for reference), however, there is an error in the notification while calculating the new petrol rates. The post will be updated as soon as an official correction is made to the notification.
The new Petrol Prices in Pakistan will take effect from 1 January 2022 and remain in place until 15 January 2022.
It is pertinent to mention that Prices of Crude Oil have gone down globally during the last few weeks but the Government has failed to provide the public with the much needed relief.
