Karachi Kings had a solid start with Sharjeel Khan scoring 43 runs off 31 balls alongside Babar Azam, who put 23 runs to the score total from 29 balls and Joe Clarke, who was able to score 26 runs off 24 balls.
Multan Sultans gave an impressive bowling performance and limited most of the Karachi Kings batting line to a low score, including Mohammad Nabi, who scored just 10 off 17 balls and Tom Lammonby, who just scored 1 run. Lewis Gregory could have turned the game around but came in too late, however, he was able to score 14 runs off 16 balls.
The defending champions had a strong start to their batting in the second innings of the PSL 7 match against Karachi Kings. Shan Masood scored a solid 26 runs off just 18 balls, while Mohammad Rizwan completed his half century scoring 52 runs off 47 balls, while remaining not out throughout the second innings.
Sohaib Maqsood also have an impressive performance adding 30 runs to the score total off just 31 balls. However, Rilee Rossouw only managed to score 2 runs. Tim David came in towards the end and added 12 runs to the score for Multan Sultans and helped the team to victory alongside Mohammad Rizwan.
