Multan Sultans won the toss and elected to bowl first giving the first, however, the team failed to restrict Lahore Qalandars, who managed to set a target of 207 runs for the Multan Sultans to win this game.

Fakhar and Abdullah gave Qalandars a flying start scoring 76 and 24 runs off just 35 and 22 balls, respectively. The rest of the team did not disappoint either with their batting with Kamran Ghulam scoring 43 runs off 31 balls and Muhammad Hafeez adding 16 runs to the score total from just 12 balls.
Meanwhile, Ben Dunk could only score 9 runs off 11 balls with David Wiese and Rashid Khan ending the game with a score of 13 and 17 runs off 5 and 4 balls, respectively.
Multan Sultans might not have been able to restrict the Lahore Qalandars to a low total but they made up for it when it was their turn with the bat. Shan Masood and Mohammad Rizwan gave an exceptional start to the game scoring 83 and 69 runs from just 50 and 42 balls, respectively.
Meanwhile, Sohaib Maqsood added 20 to the score total from just 17 balls, while Rilee Rossouw only managed 5 off 3 balls. However, Khushdil Shah managed to take the team to victory scoring 18 runs off 4 balls with 4 magnificent boundaries.
