Pakistan Super League Seventh Edition (PSL 7 2022) – Match 7 Highlights – Quetta Gladiators vs Multan Sultans (QG vs MS) at Karachi National Stadium – Multan Sultans won by 6 runs.
Quetta Gladiators won the toss and elected to bowl first and letting Multan Sultans set a target of 175 in order to win the match, which was only possible through the exceptional performance of Shan Masood, who managed to score an impressive 88 runs off just 58 balls as one of the openers.

However, Mohammad Rizwan was sent back to the pavilion early for no score and Sohaib Maqsood made up for the loss by scoring 21 runs off 23 balls. Meanwhile, Rilee Rossouw added 21 to the score total from just 19 balls and Tim David managed 28 runs off 16 balls alongside Khushdil Shah, who scored 8 runs from 5 balls.
Quetta Gladiators had a rough start from the beginning with Will Smeed getting sent back to the pavilion for just 3 runs off 5 balls, while Ahsan Ali managed 24 runs off 19 balls. Meanwhile, Ben Duckett, who came in after Will Smeed, managed to add 47 runs to the score total from just 32 balls, however, the effort wasn’t enough as Multan Sultans kept a tight control over Quetta Gladiators with their exceptional fielding and bowling.
Sarfaraz Ahmed only managed 21 runs off 23 balls, while Ashir Qureshi was sent back to the pavilion without making a single score, while Mohammad Nawaz only only able to make 1 runs off 2 balls before joining the others back a the pavilion.
Iftikhar Ahmed gave an impressive performance alongside James Faulkner managing 30 and 18 runs off 13 and 12 balls, respectively, while Sohail Tanvir added just 13 runs off 8 balls. Naseem Shah and Muhammad Hasnain, who came in towards the end of the innings, managed to score 1 and 0, respectively.
Quetta Gladiators failed to make the target with Multan Sultans winning by 6 runs.
