Twitter is reportedly working on a feature called “Twitter Articles” which would allow users to post Tweets without the current 280-character limit, which restricts users from delving into details while making a post on the social media platform. However, the reverse engineering expert on Twitter, Jane Manchun Wong, shared details regarding a feature called “Twitter Articles” that may soon allow users to write posts beyond any character limits on the micro-blogging site.
The reverse engineering expert shared a screenshot of the new Twitter Web Interface showing the “Twitter Articles” feature with the text, “No Twitter articles yet,” with “Create a Twitter Article” written below it, which suggests that users might be able to post long-form articles on Twitter.

However, the “Twitter Articles” feature is not yet available to the public and there is no official confirmation by the company as to when the same will be rolled out globally for every user. Currently, Twitter users who want to post longer Tweets have to use the “Threads” feature which splits their content into multiple tweets consisting of 280-characters.
There is no telling whether the feature would be made available to everyone or just a group of users like the subscribers of Twitter Blue, who have also been provided the “Reader” feature, which allows users to more easily read long threads. The company is said to be working on new features as part of the Twitter Blue Labs.
