PSL 7: Peshawar Zalmi vs Quetta Gladiators – Match 22 Highlights

Pakistan Super League Seventh Edition (PSL 7 2022) – Match 22 Highlights – Peshawar Zalmi vs Quetta Gladiators (PZ vs QG) at Lahore Qaddafi Stadium – Peshawar Zalmi won by 24 runs.

Peshawar Zalmi won the toss and elected to bat first, successfully setting a decent target of 186 runs for the Quetta Gladiators to win the match in the second innings.

Peshawar Zalmi suffered several setbacks during their innings with quick loss of wickets early in the game as Hazratullah Zazai and Liam Livingstone were both dismissed with a score of 1 and 0 off 4 and 3 balls, respectfully. However, Mohammad Haris managed 29 runs off 17 balls, while partnership between Shoaib Malik and Hussain Talat proved fruitful as they scored 58 and 51 runs off 41 and 33 balls, respectfully.

Sherfane Rutherford was also dismissed early with a score of 0, while Ben Cutting managed 36 runs off 14 balls and helped the team towards setting a decent target of 186 runs for the Quetta Gladiators.

Quetta Gladiators failed to perform against the tight bowling of Peshawar Zalmi, except Will Smeed, who managed to score 99 runs off 60 balls. Sarfaraz Ahmed also managed to rack up 25 runs off 21 balls. However, the rest of the batting order failed miserably, especially against the bowling attack by Usman Qadir, who scored 3 wickets off just 25 runs.
