Google Domains, the company’s domain subscription service, has finally been launched in 26 countries after spending more than seven years in the beta phase. According to the company, the Google Domains service already has a millions of active registrations, which were made during the beta testing period.
The Google Domains service allows users to pick from more than 300 different domain endings and have access to high performance DNS, which is the same infrastructure the company uses for itself or at least that’s what Google says. The service will come with around the clock customer support and the company is currently offering 20 percent discount for new single domain registration or transfer-in to Google Domains with promocode DOMAINS20.
It is pertinent to mention that Google Domains has been under development since 2014 in the beta phase with invite-only users being able to register domains on the service. However, the company opened up the public beta for the service in the United States in January 2015 and has finally removed the beta tag and introduced the service in 26 countries.
Once you register with Google Domains, you can start building a website with Google Sites or the company’s “premium partners,” including Wix, Shopify, SquareSpace, Weebly, and Bluehost. Furthermore, the service provides simple integrations with tools like Google Ads and Search Console, so you can reach customers across the web.
